The Australians are in 3rd and Srilankans are in the 4th spot according to the latest ICC Test rankings. Defeating the srilankans with an innings victory in the third test, indian team gained the top spot. India won the series 2-0. Virender Sehwag who hit 293 in the 1st innings was selected the man of the match and man of the series. The Twenty20 matches starts on dec 9th.
