Hamilton leads McLaren 1-2 at Turkish Grand Prix

2008 World Champion Lewis Hamilton and 2009 World Champion Jenson Button earned McLaren a perfect 1-2 finish at Turkish Grand Prix here on Sunday. This was McLaren's second 1-2 finish of the 2010 season since the Chinese GP.

Until lap 40 the race seemed to be Red Bull's another 1-2 finish and the McLarens 3-4. But on Lap 41 Sebastian Vettel got a run on Mark Webber on the Turn 12, and was had a spin wildly down the road which lead to his retirement with a punctured right-rear tyre. Mark Webber was forced to run wide. The two McLarens who awaited a mistake from Red Bulls picked their way gleefully through the debris to snatch the leading positions.

Michael Schumacher’s Mercedes finished fourth on the podium with team mate Nico Rosberg finished fifth ahead of Renault’s Robert Kubica and Ferrari’s Felipe Massa who had a race-long battle for sixth.
Mark Webber still leads the world championship with 93 points to Button’s 88 and Hamilton’s 84, Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso who is fourth on 79 from Vettel on 78.

The controversial yet gripping race moves McLaren back ahead of Red Bull in the constructors’ championship, with 172 points to 171, with Ferrari third on 146 and Mercedes fourth on 100. Renault has 73.

World’s youngest CEO

Have you ever wondered who will be the youngest CEO in the world? An Indian teenager named Suhas Gopinath is now termed the ‘World’s youngest CEO’.

Having been introduced into the world of internet by his elder brother When he was in the grade 7, Gopinath got fascinated by it. He felt like he wanted to offer some things useful like website design which consisted of email, voice mail and video mail services too. And finally, at the age of 14, he was asked by a network solutions company to host their website.

After that, he started focusing on tapping the NRI market and providing them with information related to visas, restaurants available abroad, etc. It started off as a home-office which later on went to became an enterprise.

The laws in India did not permit a person who was still a minor to setup a company. But that didn't stop Gopinath. Hence he setup Global Inc in San Jose. And now, Global Inc has a team of 600 members, and has offices in more than 11 countries around the world.

Like Bill Gates and Michael Dell, Gopinath sacrificed his student life to achieve the success he has achieved today. He manages to catch about only 4 hours of sleep every night as compared to the 8-9 hours earlier, plus he has to coordinate with his offices in the States!

Guru Nanak Durbar - Dubai's gurdwara

Guru Nanak Durbar, the first gurdwara in the UAE, will be opened in Dubai next month.

After studying important Sikh shrines the world over, including the most famouse Golden Temple at Amritsar in India, the structure was finalised and built at cost of $20 million. The ultra-modern gurdwara is a rare piece of architectural design, a blend of modern and traditional building style.

In 2008, Gulf-based industrialist Surender Singh Kandhari took initiative to build the big budget project. He sort permission from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Makhtoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE. He convinced the top authorities in UAE about the tolerant teachings of Sikh gurus. Kind hearted Sheikh not only granted immediate permission for the shrine, but also gave free land to the community in the heart of Dubai.

It took almost 2 years for Dubai-based architectural firms Holford Associates and Paul Bishop Design Associates to give final shape to the 3 storyed mega structure built over 12,5000 sq ft with a basement, a langar (a community kitchen) and assembly halls.

The Guru Nanak Darbar will accommodate over 600 devotees at the langar hall at one time. It will be ready by next few months except for some minute interior design work.

Stem Cells May Benefit Stroke Patients

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of CryoCell International. All opinions are 100% mine.

Cryo-Cell International, Inc. is collaborating with researchers all over the world on pre-clinical studies of Célle for potential future therapies that may possibly treat disorders such as diabetes; breast cancer and wound-healing etc...

Recently C'elle in 'Medical News Today' announced the results of a study on 'Stem Cells and Development' article. The study, entitled “Menstrual Blood Cells Display Stem Cell-Like Phenotypic Markers and Exert Neuroprotection Following Transplantation in Experimental Stroke” was conducted by researchers at Cryo-Cell International, the University of South Florida, Saneron-CCEL Therapeutics and the Medical College of Georgia. It shows that stem cells found in menstrual blood may one day be a potential source for stem cell therapies in stroke and other central nervous system disorders.

According to a number of early studies, Menstrual stem cells often known as MenSCs, offer an easily accessible, non-controversial and renewable stem cell source with the potential to one day treat a host of diseases, such as stroke, osteoporosis, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease to name a few.

Ever since introduced in November 2007, C’elle(SM) service is the first and only service that empowers women to collect and cryopreserve menstrual flow containing undifferentiated adult stem cells for future utilization by the donor or possibly their first-degree relatives in a manner similar to umbilical cord blood stem cells.

At present, Célle is offering a discount of $100 on the $499 retail price with a special limited time offer for collection, processing, testing and first year storage at $399. Use the code CLSTR.
