Earlier, KKR which won the toss decided to bat first and the decision didn't go in vain. Skipper Sourav Ganguly scored his sixth half-century (56 off 46 balls) in Indian Premier League. Ganguly and Chris Gayle (40 off 21 balls) added 94 runs in the first 10-odd overs to give the home side a perfect start.
